Economics for the law

The idea of a systematic integration of Economy and Law originated from Firm’s experience in matters of competition law and in proceedings before regulatory authorities where legal problems can only be properly appreciated when considered within their economic context.
This methodical integration between economy and law has proved to be precious in evaluating the economic/financial implications connected with administrative decisions and new domestic and European regulations.
The Firms enjoys the support off-council of Pierluigi Ciocca, a former economist at Bank of Italy from 1969 to 2006 who was appointed Deputy Director General of the Bank in 1995.
A member of the prestigious Accademia dei Lincei, Pierluigi Ciocca is author of numerous publications. Together with Filippo Satta he edits the on-line journal ApertaContrada – Riflessioni su società, diritto, economia (Reflexions on society, law and economy).
