Who we are
The founder of the Firm, Filippo Satta, started his career as an independent lawyer in 1972. In a short time he became an important point of reference in the panorama of Italian legal firms specialising in public law. He took part in the great transformations that have occurred in Italian industry over the past four decades (state and private holdings, media, telecommunications, infrastructure, high technology and computerisation of the public administration). In all these sectors he has provided legal consultancy and assistance during disputes in courts of law in Italy and Europe.
Since it was founded in 1975, the firm has always been an associateship, evolving over time to its current denomination of Satta & Associates in 1997.
Today Satta & Associates comprises a group of lawyers specialized in the various sectors of administrative law providing the Firm’s clients with high quality services. The ability to blend prestigious traditional aspects of legal practice with an unwavering awareness of developments in the law and economy, and its meticulous attention to research and training of young lawyers are undoubtedly among the most important of the Firm’s strong points.
