Who we are
Filippo Satta has been a lawyer since 1966 and is also professor of Administrative Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He has been appointed to several prominent offices and is a former Vice-Chairman of WWF Italy. Prof. Satta is author of numerous scientific publications and, together with Pierluigi Ciocca, is editor of the on-line journal ApertaContrada – Riflessioni su società, diritto, economia (Reflections on society, law and economy). His name is often mentioned among Italy’s pre-eminent lawyers and in the Chambers 2008 evaluation he is cited as being “highly sought-after for public law work in Rome“.
The Firm has its offices in Rome and offers nationwide judicial and extra-judicial legal assistance thanks also to a series of consolidated relationships with other important firms well-grounded in major Italian affairs. Its activities focus on the various branches of administrative law, and above all those sectors which, given their continuous evolution, are the most contemporary and complex. Particular attention is paid, moreover, to economic profiles and their effect on juridical analysis, thanks to the experience of the economists working under the guidance of Pierluigi Ciocca and the in-depth studies carried out by the Research Group coordinated by Anna Romano.
The Firm places great importance on the professional growth of its members, especially its young lawyers, and strives to keep lawyers continually up to date by organising specific training courses and activities carried out by the Research Group.
